Well, actually, although it could be called a "wrap" ( a generic term), it is no more a toga than it is a trench coat.
It wouldn't be out of line to call it a sarong, perhaps a mod sari or even a neo-chiton; but not a toga which is a VERY specific wrap of a large semi circle of fabric. You can't make one from a sheet.
I agree that drapes and wraps need to make a come back; I wear them myself (I'm a guy), but not togas. Togas suck, that's why Rome once had to pass a law requiring their use by citizens (under penalty of death and shit), everyone hated them.
P.S. I hadn't even noticed the ropers. Good to see someone other than myself riding in them. They're really much better "cycling shoes" than one might expect.
I've never thought to combine them with a sarong though.
